Sound of silence adalah salah satu lagu yang populer pada
tahun 1966. Dibawakan oleh Simon dan
Garfunkel jumlah viewer di
youtube yang diunggah 11 tahun yang lalu tepatnya tahun 2008 oleh fritsz51139
kini telah mencapai 7 juta. Selang 3 tahun setelahnya di akun youtube yang
berbeda jumlah viewernya mencapai 62 juta. Pada tahun 2016 yang kemudian lagunya
di cover oleh akun youtube Distrubed viewernya sudah mencapai 531 juta. Lagu ini memang fenomenal. Tetapi sekian
banyak orang yang telah membawakan lagu ini. Hanya ada 2 versi yang menurut
penulis dapat menyampaikan isi lagu ini kepada para pendengarnya, yaitu versi Simon and Garfunkel dan versi Emma
Louise and Husky Gawenda.
